Subaru BRZ – On Test

For donkey’s years, there wasn’t really any such thing as a properly fun, affordable rear-wheel-drive coupe. Sure, the Mazda MX-5 was keeping the RWD sports car flame alive, but that is a drop-top two-seater.

The Subaru BRZ and closely-related Toyota GT86 rectified the situation when they burst onto the scene in 2012. With an engine at the front, a sleek coupe body and a limited-slip differential, they were exactly what enthusiasts were crying out for.

Now that the near-hysteria that greeted the BRZ/GT86 has died down, Only Motors thought it a good time to see if the BRZ lives up to the hype.
