The Caterham 620S has 310bhp and weighs 545kg. Just take a moment to digest the implications of that.
0-60mph? 3.4secs. Top speed? 145mph. And, since this is Caterham, it has no ABS or traction control to temper that enormous power and its pin-point handling.
This unbelievably, is supposed to be the friendlier option at the top of the Caterham range, being more usable on-road than the banzai 620R, with its track-honed suspension and sequential gearbox.
Is it possible to just jump in and drive? Or is it still an intimidating monster?
