Only Motors Interactive – NEC Classic Car Show

You could probably go to a classic car show of some description every weekend of the year. For something that’s often considered a strange, geeky interest, the classic car hobby is huge. Possibly bigger than its ever been. And a multi-billion pound industry.

One of the biggest events on the classic car calendar is the NEC Classic Car Show, held at the NEC in Birmingham – obviously – every November. Tens of thousands of enthusiasts flock to the event to see hundreds of cars, shop for those hard-to-find parts and meet celebrities of the classic car world.

Among the those enthusiasts at the most recent event were Graham King and James Fothergill, who made the trip up in the new Fiat 500X crossover. It did cross their minds to go in an original, classic Fiat 500, but they thought it probably wouldn’t handle the M40 too well.

James also takes the new Mazda MX-5 for a spin.
